What Should I Expect?

  1. 1.  A complete head to toe biomechanical evaluation, administered by a licensed Physical Therapist. Also, we utilize the evidenced based “Selective Functional Movement Assessment”.
  2. 2.  Clear Explanation of your diagnosis and an outline of the focused, personalized treatment that you require. Also, we refer out to other medical professionals if appropriate, all based on our findings.
  3. 3.  We start the process of hands on treatment and corrective exercise.
  4. 4.  A personalized, specific home corrective exercise program is created and provided to you.


What types a problems do you treat?

  • We treat a wide variety of orthopedic or neurological injuries, surgeries and ailments on all ages.
  • We take a close look at your Movement Patterns utilizing the “Selective Functional Movement Assessment”, which allows us to accurately assess faulty biomechanics. A patient may have a specific area of pain, however we still assess areas above and below to take a comprehensive look at the entire problem.



Our physical therapists are well trained to evaluate every joint in the body. They administer specific examination procedures for every joint, each specially formatted to break down motion at that particular joint to get to your problem. Whether your pain and limitations are from surgery, injury or for no known reason, we examine: shoulders, elbows, hand/wrists, hips, knees, ankles and feet. We can rehabilitate rotator cuff repairs, SLAP lesions, shoulder replacements, carpal tunnel surgery, trigger finger repairs, hip replacements, ACL repairs, menicus tears, knee replacements, ankle fracture reconstruction, big toe replacements, along with many other surgical procedures.

Some of our evidence based interventions include: postural re-education, neuromuscular re-education, specific strengthening, PNF, gait training, modalities, as well as both dynamic and static stretching. With our individualized intervention plans, we can improve conditions such as shoulder instability, shoulder impingement, shoulder arthritis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, hip arthritis, knee arthritis, patella tracking issues, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, sprains, strains, muscle pulls, ankle instability and many other orthopedic conditions.


Our physical therapists are trained to evaluate all segments of the spine. We exam and treat necks, mid backs, and low backs. We can address:

  • Whip lash
  • Nerve root compression and irritation
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Disc degeneration
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Disc herniation
  • Sciatica
  • Numbness and tingling into arms and legs, along with many other spinal conditions.

We provide multiple interventions to address the spine. For example, some of our evidence based interventions include traction, core strengthening, spinal stabilization, hip and pelvic strengthening, nerve "glides", postural re-education, muscle energy techniques, and scapular stabilization training.

We also provide experienced hands-on care. Some of our hands on spine treatments include (but are not exclusive to): soft tissue massage, nerve mobilization, traction, spinal mobilization and manipulation, muscle facilitation and kinesotaping.

Sports Medicine

Our therapists are trained to rehabilitate and challenge any athlete involved in any sport. Whether you just had surgery or you just had an injury, we have the creativity and tools to get you back to sport. We provide a full examination on your first day to identify what limitations you have to create a sports specific, unique plan. Some sport related injuries, surgeries and conditions we provide for include:

  • ACL reconstruction
  • Medial meniscus tear
  • Knee and shoulder sprains and strains
  • Patella dislocations
  • ITB Syndrome
  • Runners knee
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Groin Strains
  • Bursitis, tendonitis

We have a designated area with specific sport and weight lifting equipment that allows us to provide: pertubation training, agility drills, cardiac endurance training, heavyweight lifting, plyometrics and any other sport rehabilitation need you may have. We have the abilities and tools to get you back to sport safely and timely.


We offer water therapy Monday, Wedensday, and Friday mornings at our on-site pool. Our pool ranges from 3 1/2 feet in dept to 4 1/2 feet and is kept at an ideal 92 degrees. We offer private dressing rooms for your convience as well as bath towels if you need. Our aquatic therapist has over twenty years experience and instructs you in an individualized exercise program designed to address your needs. Water therapy is helpful with multiple conditions and problems such as multiple scerlosis, spinal cord injury, stroke, general deconditioning, and after surgery. Aquatic therapy offers a multitude of benefits and is helpful in improving:

  • Range of motion
  • Strength
  • Endurance
  • Vascular problems
  • Exercise tolerance
